Dr. Carl A. Hicks has served Sugar Land and Southwest Houston since 1994. He is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon that is fellowship trained in adult reconstructive surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Hicks provides each patient with a full understanding of his or her treatment options, with the goal of achieving the highest quality of life with the least amount of risk. Dr. Hicks specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hip, knee, and shoulder pain, arthritis, sports injuries and total joint replacement.
Dr. Hicks is part of Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Sugar Land – a comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine practice offering personalized care. The physicians are all deeply involved in giving back to the community — from serving as team physicians for local school districts to giving of their time to charitable medical care programs.
As team physicians, the group serves Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer team, Rodeo Houston, Fort Bend, Alief, and Sweeny ISD and Stafford MSD.
